The veil is an iconic and popular accessory for weddings around the world. Brides are able to show their personality and creativity with a vast array of styles, lengths, and colors. Whether you are donning this look for religious or fashion purposes, a veil adds an air of mystery and beauty to the wearer. Beading, feathers, lace or floral elements can take the sheer overlay to the next level.

Traditionally, a blushing veil (like this one on Kate Middleton) is worn over the bride’s face as she walks down the aisle and removed by a member of the wedding party during the ceremony. However, with more weddings taking place in windy areas like the beach and other outdoor venues, brides are opting for smaller, more delicate veils or no veil at all.

One of our favorite bloggers, Emily, from Cupcakes and Cashmere just said “I Do” in a beautiful birdcage veil for her outdoor ceremony and we absolutely love it! Congratulations Emily!
