How Our Kendra Scott Family Celebrates the Season Part 2

‘Tis the Season! There’s something so magical about the holidays – and they mean different things to everyone, whether that’s enjoying cozy nights by the fire or taking the time to give back to your community. This year, we asked our Kendra Scott Family to share their heart for the holidays and how they’ll be celebrating:

‘TIS THE SEASON TO PLAY

With two little boys in my life the holidays are never short of energy, excitement and wonder.  We have created such fun traditions the past few years with them decorating the trees on Loop 360, family night at the Trail of Lights, making cookies and writing letters to Santa and my favorite which are cozy cold nights with hot chocolate by the fire watching a holiday movie.

‘TIS THE SEASON TO START NEW BEGINNINGS

We got married in October, so this will be our first Christmas as newlyweds! I'm most excited to start new traditions as our little family of 2. The cheesier the better!

‘TIS THE SEASON TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE

Fun fact about me: My favorite hobby is scuba diving. I've been trying to get my family to go with me for years, and when I go home this holiday, this could be the time I make it happen.

‘TIS THE SEASON TO BE WITH FAMILY

Whether we're at home with our pup, Colonel McFluff, or traveling to Italy to visit my husband's family, the holidays to me are all about being with the ones I love. This year I’m excited to learn about Italian holiday traditions my husband grew up with, and learning a little more about him, even after so many years together!

‘TIS THE SEASON TO MAKE NEW TRADITIONS

Growing up, we had so many holiday traditions, but my favorite was always decorating Christmas cookies with my mom. With a new baby in the house this season, I love thinking about all the traditions we will get to create with her.

‘TIS THE SEASON TO SHARE MY MUSIC

I've been playing bass in a local Austin band, Bidi Bidi Banda, for years, and my favorite part is always watching the audience get into the music. The holidays should be all about letting go and enjoying the moment, and I'm glad I have the chance to give that to them.
