How to Style Our Men’s Line with Josh Villarreal

In case you missed it, last week marked the official launch of our newest Men’s Collection, Scott Bros. by Kendra Scott! Designed for the everyday with elevated detail, we spoke with our very own Marketing Operations Lead, Josh Villarreal, to get the inside scoop on how to style our latest Men’s looks. Check it out below:

What is your favorite style from the new Menʼs Line?

Whoa, starting with a hard hitter! I really love all of them. (And Iʼm not just saying that.) There’s such a variety when it comes to the materials and colors, that it really makes it too hard to choose!

With so much variety, how are you styling your pieces?

I’m a big fan of stacking my pieces to add that extra something when I’m throwing on jeans and a tee or heading for a night out with friends. That said, if you're not quite ready for a full-on arm party, I’d try starting with a monochromatic look (black on black, blue on blue), essentially something that’s a little more neutral, even if you’re adding color. It’s a great way to dress up a sports coat and slacks, or even a suit and tie if you want to layer up with your watch.

Which piece is your go-to for every day? How about for your next event?

Personally, Iʼve been living in the Beck and Cade bracelets. The Beck in Oxidized Sterling Silver has been a really great low-maintenance investment piece. I love it because it goes with just about anything that I’m wearing, whether I’m looking to elevate something more casual or add the finishing touch to something a little more dressed up.  The Cade in Multi Mix is also a great transitional piece that brings a pop of color to your outfit (and gives back to youth causes!).

What’s your secret to bracelet stacking?

Mix it up! Iʼm really loving the way the stones, materials, and colors all compliment each other, while still giving some great “mixed media” contrast. But hey, you can always start out with one and work your way up — there are really no rules to styling if you feel your best.
