Behind the Design Kendra Scott Fall 2019
From stackable rings to a new take on huggie earrings, there’s so much to see (and most of it’s under $80). Ready? Let’s go.
The Inspiration
We just can’t get enough of the modern day western trend. Maybe it’s because our design studio is located in Austin, Texas (known for major southwestern style) or because stackable rings and a wide-brimmed hat are practically made for our go-to denim – whatever the reason, we’re definitely embracing it this season.
Limited Edition Colors
At KS, color is the foundation of everything we do and currently, we’re drawn to a gorgeous mix of brights and neutrals. Our Bronze Veined Red Magnesite is red, our way – with a little bit of sparkle. Bright enough to wear now yet perfect for all the seasons ahead, it’s the one everyone can’t wait to wear. And what’s not to love about our White Abalone Shell? An unexpected neutral, this stone maintains all the iridescence and patterning of a beloved shell while stripping it of its color.
Kendra’s Fave: Vintage Gold
We’ve always been into Gold, and this time we’re going a little old school with a hint of easy, breezy Americana that Kendra’s seriously obsessed with. You’ll find it in a select number of filigree pieces this drop, but stay tuned as we introduce it in even more styles (statement earrings, all kinds of necklaces, a cocktail ring…) in the coming months!

Our New Custom Shape
And finally, we have to talk about our tapered baguette silhouette! A minimalist canvas that lets the stone shine, this shape has been found in fine jewelry collections across the globe – and now we’re putting a fresh spin on it for this seasonal suite. For an eclectic look, we recommend layering it on with a host of stackable rings and finishing things off with a pair of huggie earrings.
