Morning Laughs with Kendra and Mama Janet

There’s nothing better than starting my day with a few laughs with my mom! For those of you who don’t know, my mother – or Mama Janet, as she’s known around the KS office – was the very first employee of the Kendra Scott company, and she still works with me today! In celebration of Mother’s Day, we sat down to talk about memories, motherhood, and working together as mom and daughter.

My mom always told me I could do anything. She has always supported my dreams, from the ones I had for my Barbies to my own dream of becoming a designer. Above all else, she taught me that the most important job I'd ever have is raising good, strong and independent kids.
