Kendra Gives Back for Breast Cancer Awareness

Selecting just one cause to support during Breast Cancer Awareness month is always nearly impossible. Our company’s community involvement is best summarized by our philanthropic mantra, “What Matters to You, Matters To Us.” Our passion for our communities drives our motivation to work with local organizations all year long. And this October, we decided to go a step further. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we will dedicate our philanthropic efforts to a single philanthropic initiative: to be a voice for Kendra’s dear friend Holley Kitchen, who passed away in January after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Here’s what you can do to help this October:
BUY ONE, GIFT ONE
Throughout the month of October, for every purchase of a select suite of styles, we are honored to not only donate 20% of purchased price up to $25,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, but also to gift a piece of jewelry in Rose Quartz to a woman battling breast cancer.
We picked our favorite styles for this month’s special giveback: Sophee Earrings in Rose Gold, the Tessa Earrings, Lee Earrings and Elisa Necklace in Rose Gold Drusy, and two new October exclusives, the Elisa Necklace and Lee Earrings in Light Pink Drusy.
With each in-store purchase, you’ll have the opportunity to write a handwritten note of encouragement to accompany the gifted piece of jewelry.
HOLLEY DAY
On October 18, we are putting into action the inaugural “Holley Day,” a day dedicated to continuing Holley’s mission of raising awareness and support for those with metastatic breast cancer. Through this, we will donate $100,000 in Holley’s name to METAvivor, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness of metastatic breast cancer.
LOLLEY CHARM
Since 2013, Kendra has supported her friend’s challenging journey and breast cancer awareness with the Kendra Scott Lolley Charm, which honors both Holley and Lisa, another of Kendra’s dear friends who is now a breast cancer survivor. The charm is sold year-round and contributes proceeds to the Seton Breast Care Center with each purchase.
BROBE PARTNERSHIP
We have also partnered with Brobe to provide a "Feel Beautiful" package to women undergoing breast cancer treatment. The “Recovery Brobe” is designed for women undergoing any breast surgery, such as mastectomy, breast reconstruction or augmentation. Aimed at being functional yet feminine, Brobe “celebrates femininity with luxury for life transitions.”
In partnership with Brobe, Kendra Scott will donate 40 “Feel Beautiful” packages to local oncology centers, which will include a Recovery Brobe and a piece of Kendra Scott jewelry. In addition, for every Recovery Brobe purchased on TheBrobe.com during the month of October, Kendra Scott will accompany each purchase with a piece of Rose Quartz jewelry.
