Happy Friday everyone – Kendra here! Each year, Austin Fashion Week concludes with the Austin Fashion Awards – a fabulous evening complete with the Golden Boot Awards ceremony and an incredible fashion show. Last year, I was so honored to take home the Golden Boot for People’s Choice “Best Jewelry Designer” and Industry’s Choice “Best Overall Designer.” This year, as a board member, it was such a privilege to watch one of my favorite fellow Austin designers, Ross Bennett, take home a Golden Boot for the “Rising Star” award.
