Philanthropy We Love: The Prom Shop Project

As a company comprised of many women, we know what an exciting milestone prom is for high school girls.  That’s why we absolutely love The Prom Shop Project, a program that helps make dreams come true by providing donated dresses and accessories so every girl can feel like a princess on her prom day.  We are so excited about this cause, in fact, that we’re dedicating our Girl’s Night Out tonight to The Shop Prom Project.  When you purchase a ring online or in-stores tonight starting at 5:00 pm CST, we will donate a ring to The Prom Shop Project.  In addition, if you donate a new or used cocktail dress, evening gown, or an accessory such as heels, clutches, gloves or hair accessories, you can enjoy 15% off your entire purchase in-stores.  Whether you come in our stores to donate or shop online, please join us as we support this fantastic cause!  Read on to find out more about The Prom Shop Project…

Kim Peters founded The Prom Shop Project in 2001 as a way to give back to her community in her hometown of Dallas, Texas.  With additional locations in Austin, San Antonio and Atlanta, her good works have quickly spread across the country.  The Prom Shop Project allows high school juniors and seniors to choose from a gorgeous array of donated dresses and accessories as volunteers help them select the perfect ensemble so they can truly feel special on their prom or homecoming day.  We are so thankful to people like Kim who make such a difference in the world and are thrilled and honored to help support such an amazing cause!
