There are so many ways you can creatively display your jewelry, and in case you’re searching for a new, fun way to store your jewels, we have the perfect DIY for you. We sought out to make a cute and easy DIY jewelry maker and came up with this chic, chevron one that is perfect to hang on the wall of your bedroom or bathroom. Read on to see how to make it yourself.
What you’ll need:
- Cork, empty frame & box cutter (or pre-made cork board)
- Painter’s Tape
- Thumb Tacs
- Fun buttons
- Gold wire
- Gold spray paint
- Hot glue gun
If you bought the frame and cork individually, start by cutting the cork board to fill the frame with the box cutter. Then hot glue the cork board into the frame.
{1} Wrap painters tape across cork board diagonally, creating stripes. Then spray paint the board with the gold paint and let dry.
{2} Hot glue your fun buttons to the end of the push pins.
{3} Let dry…now you have cute, custom push pins!
{4} Push one pin into side of the cork board and wrap the gold wire around a few times until secure.
{5} Push another pin at the opposite ewnd of the board and connect the wire, wrapping it to create a line. This is to hang your earrings from!
{6} Push pins randomly along your board to hang your necklaces and rings from.
Voila! You now have a chic way to display all of your gorgeous, colorful Kendra Scott jewels!
