Summer is fabulous, but there’s something about putting on a cozy sweater, tall boots and warm scarf that make us all crave winter. The sensation of the cool breeze and crisp air around you whilst bundled up in chunky knits is truly something to look forward to, especially after a scorching summer like we’ve had in Texas. Our favorite color combination for this upcoming and most welcomed cooler weather, is navy and red. Navy has been a favorite color, posing as a neutral in many circumstances, and a classic color of fall, red, accents it perfectly. When navy, such as our Blue Goldstone is paired alongside a red with rust tones, like those found in our new Carnelian stone, the typical nautical feel quickly disappears.

These four fashionable ladies make us truly excited to try out this color combo for fall. Take a bold coat, like this trench-inspired coat in a lovely red hue and add touches of navy for a refined look, or equally distribute the blue and red coloring with a fun print, like polkadots for visual interest and flare. Scarves are a fall must-have, and we are in love with the big, flowing cut of this large, ruffle-like scarf. Combine your stripes and plaid by using them as separates, but make them coordinate by keeping the navy and red color scheme in place. The result is perfectly preppy, as shown by this trendy gal.

Can’t wait to get your hands on some Blue Goldstone and Carnelian pieces to try this marriage of colors yourself? The Valerie Necklace in Carnelian is a show stopper and is sure to make a statement. The Dillon Earrings in Blue Goldstone are elegant and bold, while the Reva Ring in Carnelian is tribal trendy.
We’d love to know….How would you rock navy and red?
