The color gray is a common shade in nature during the cooler months. From the gray, snow-covered mountain tops to the foggy gray skies, this alluring neutral can be seen everywhere during fall and winter. As French author Andre Gide once said “the color of truth is gray,” and the cool yet dark shade is often used to convey a feeling. This year, the color gray has found its place in fashion too. We’re not sure if Christian Gray’s popularity in the best seller 50 Shades of Gray has anything to do with the color trend, but we are loving its return to the spotlight and can’t wait to incorporate it in our fall 2012 wardrobe.

Our Fall 2012 collection, which is launching in just two days, incorporates gray in a major way with our new stone, slate cats eye. The luminescent shade is multi-dimensional with its varying shades of gray and looks absolutely gorgeous against glinting gold metal. Get some jewels in this beautiful hue this Wednesday online or at our fabulous Fall Launch Party at our Dallas or Austin store!
