Happy Friday, Kendra here! With all of the excitement surrounding the upcoming summer Olympics and recent Diamond Jubilee honoring Queen Elizabeth II, all eyes are on Britain. For me, that means all eyes are on british style icons. You may have already seen our obsession here at Kendra Scott with Kate Middleton and her fabulously classic style.
Another emerging style icon from England, Emma Watson transitioned from child star to fashionista in 2009 when she became the face of Burberry’s fall line. Who knew that Harry Potter’s Hermione would become such a trend icon? I cannot help but be enchanted by this lady’s sense of style. Emma transcends the barriers from classic to edgy with ease.
Check out these great get the looks that my team helped put together…
SPECIAL APPEARANCE: Emma Watson was magical at the Tribeca Film Festival in head-to-toe Miu Miu. I love her creative combination of patterns in the skirt and blouse. The blue floral contrasts nicely with the black and white printed top. She had some major guts to risk mixing punk rock and feminine with a biker jacket and girlie skirt (but it really paid off!).
RED CARPET: Emma put a spell on the crowd at the British Academy Film Awards in an exquisite red lace ensemble. I love that she accessorized with strappy black pumps and matching red lips! Adding a few Kendra Scott pieces would have made this look even more fabulous!
STREET STYLE: At the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England, Emma enjoyed great music and a relaxing atmosphere. Be inspired by Emma’s relaxed look with denim shorts and sneakers when planning your outfits for Austin City Limits or Coachella! And don’t forget to stop in the Kendra Scott store for your last minute rock and roll jewelry.
