I’ll admit it, I have caught the Fifty Shades of Grey fever. Not wanting people to see me reading the steamy series, I discreetly read the books on my iPad. Once finished with the first book, I was so invested in the riveting, roller coaster relationship between Anna Steele and Chistian Grey that I just had to complete the rest of the series. At one point, my 8-year-old son asked me what I was reading and I turned bright red! I immediately turned off my iPad and said, ”It’s a romance novel, honey. You wouldn’t like it.”
After reading the trilogy, I was inspired to interpret my own Fifty Shades of Grey! As a classic and chic neutral, grey can be worn year-round and for any occasion. The Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 Collection is killer, and adding a splash of yellow to a grey ensemble (0ne of my personal favorite combos) as Antonio Berardi does in his Resort 2013 is super fresh. Whether on your nails or as a fantastic ombre dress, grey is a great go-to color no matter the season.
