The spring 2012 runway was a medley of bold colors and funky shapes. Fashion favorites like Marni, Christian Dior, Alberta Ferretti, and Etro embraced unique geometric designs incorporating triangles, squares and circles on the catwalk. The chevron print trend fad (which you already know we adore), is a product of this trend, and we’re excited to see geometrics expanding in more directions. Although we’re loving geometrics in bright and bold colors like electric yellow, hot pink and tangerine, you can also don this hip trend with a pastel palette or neutral hues. Check out some of our own geometric inspirations…

Start this season off to a fashionable start by adding a patterned top, maxi dress or some geometric accessories to your wardrobe. The Shelby Ring from the Kendra Scott spring collection pays tribute to this fresh trend, but if you want to make a statement with geometric pieces, try our Kat Earrings, Lauren Earrings or Beth Necklace. This whimsical trend doesn’t stop at your closet…you can also incorporate it in your home or even use it as inspiration to decorate a sweet treat. We’re loving the abstract polygons in the chic book shelf above and the colorful cake utilizing circles, stripes and chevron print.
Will you incorporate geometrics into your wardrobe or home this season?
