Fashion is a true art…so what if designers took actual paintings as the inspiration for their clothing design? Maybe they do. As we look at the bold patterns that frequent the Spring 2012 runway, we realize many designers focused on gorgeous patterns and abstract designs. We wonder, who or what was their inspiration? Being constantly inspired ourselves by art in all of it’s forms, we decided to showcase artwork that would translate beautifully into incredible wearable art. What if Alice and Olivia would have chosen this ah-mazing painting by Jennifer Ramos as their inspiration for this fabulous dress?
Or if for her Spring 2012 collection, Tory Burch utilized these crazy cool Pretty Maps of Paris by artist Aaron Straup Cope?

Or if DVF utilized a Hallie Eubanks painting for her dresses…stunning!

How about this dynamic combo with Chanel and Nancy Ramierz?
These incredible works of art have unique patterns and perfect color palettes for this season and would look truly smashing added to any wardrobe. Wouldn’t it be incredible to see the art that you love or created evolve into your favorite outfit?

I have about 250 designs put onto downloaded models as sample that are JUST like these! Many are much more detailed. I had them printed in a book in JUST the same way you display yours. Email me if you’d like to see what I mean; I’ve not known how to get them out into the world – much time invested; I think you will like them. Thanks.
