It’s a sleepy morning at the office, and we know why…the 54th annual Grammy Awards were on last night, and who couldn’t help but stay up to see all of the amazing performances this year had to offer? From Chris Brown’s double whammy dance performances to Jennifer Hudson’s beautiful tribute to the late Whitney Houston, the performers certainly did not disappoint. While the Grammy’s are undoubtedly the most entertaining awards show, you can bet we had our eyes glued to the red carpet during the pre-shows to see what all of the a-listers were wearing. Kendra’s favorite artist, Adele, stole the show with her multitude of awards, and couldn’t have picked a more classic and sophisticated number to don for her big night. We are obsessed with her black sequin Georgio Armani gown. Though you may not have an event formal enough to wear it, her look inspires us to choose sequins when trying to find the perfect black dress. And for more casual outings, we love the addition of some sassy leopard heels with a sequined LBD. Another showstopper was Katy Perry, in her gorgeous pastel Ellie Saab gown. Whether in lace, sequins, or sheer, this color is hot for spring, and Katy looked like a princess in it. Channel her look with pieces in the pretty & feminine light blue color she chose. Kendra Scott celeb fan Hillary Scott strutted herself in a two toned strapless gown. We loved the wine color of her dress, her bold and gorgeous earrings, and matching burgundy nails. Finally, Fergie stole the spotlight on the red carpet with her daring Jean Paul Gautier number. Wearing Pantone’s color of the year, tangerine, Fergie definitely turned some heads at the show, and we appreciate her bravery. While Fergie’s revealing dress may not be your choice for a formal event, let her look inspire your weekend wardrobe, with a croquet tangerine top, black shorts, and wedges. We assure you, you’ll be turning heads too.
We’d love to know…what was your favorite red carpet look from the 54th annual Grammy Awards?
